Key facts

• No account, password, or payment method is required.
• Location is optional. You can enter an address manually.
• Your favorites and preferences stay on this device.
• We do not use advertising or sell personal data.

Location and searches

Browser location permission helps sort nearby transport and center the map.

You can deny it and enter an address.

Georef Argentina receives searches while suggesting addresses.

Andén does not keep those addresses in a persistent cache.

OpenStreetMap receives a place search only after your explicit request.

That search may remain in temporary memory for 24 hours.

Andén stores your selected address only in your browser.

On the web, the bus proxy receives your location during the request.

The iPhone app uses this web experience and sends your location to the proxy during bus requests.

The proxy rounds the area before querying OneBusAway/SUBE.

An area reference may remain for up to 30 minutes.

Directions sends origin and destination to the official USIG planner.

The request passes through our server and never enters Analytics.

A derived origin-destination key may remain for 15 minutes.

We do not maintain personal journey profiles or histories.

Visit counting

Google Analytics 4 counts openings and general usage categories.

It also records first_visit, session_start, and user_engagement.

Those technical events measure visitors and sessions.

It records sections, filters, and functional actions through fixed categories.

It never receives coordinates, searches, destinations, journeys, or favorite names.

Counting starts enabled and uses analytics storage.

This distinguishes browsers and sessions through Google Analytics cookies.

Advertising, Google Signals, and personalization always remain disabled.

Google receives the connection and may infer a city from its IP address.

Google may retain user and event data for up to 14 months.

Aggregated reports may persist beyond that period.

Disable counting from Settings or through this control.

Disabling deletes its cookies and stops future events.

It does not delete previous data or aggregated reports.

Analytics in the applications

The iPhone and Android applications use Google Analytics for Firebase.

They record openings, sessions, and general application and device information.

Firebase assigns a random identifier to each installation.

Google may derive approximate location from a masked IP address.

We do not send precise location, addresses, searches, journeys, or favorites.

We do not link this data to an account because Andén has no accounts.

Advertising identifiers, Google Signals, and ad personalization are disabled.

We do not use this data for cross-app tracking or advertising.

The control above changes web measurement only.

Removing the application stops future measurement and removes its local identifier.

It does not delete earlier aggregated data.

Connections and community

Andén keeps public-provider credentials on its server.

We query Trenes Argentinos, GCBA, Georef, USIG, OpenStreetMap, and OneBusAway/SUBE.

Trenes Argentinos and EcoBici may receive direct requests from your device.

Those sources receive the IP address and standard connection details.

Argenmap receives the visible area with the default map.

OpenStreetMap receives it when you choose the alternative map.

Both receive IP, browser, origin, zoom level, and requested tiles.

Those services may keep technical logs under their own policies.

The Android app shares handled Andén URLs with the host browser.

Andén cannot access the browser's general history.

HTTPS encrypts the connection between your browser and Andén.

No software eliminates every risk.

GitHub hosts community documentation, reports, and proposals.

Bug reports and suggestions

Codex automatically processes messages sent to bugs@anden.app.

We store the sender, message, classification, replies, and ticket status.

Accepted screenshots are sanitized and deleted after analysis.

Do not send credentials, documents, exact locations, or sensitive data.

Each reply includes a private tracking link. Do not share it.

Stored data

Favorites, filters, map provider, and manual location stay on this device.

Delete them by clearing site data in your browser.

Age

Andén is not directed to children under 13.
